Charming small hotel on the main square in Ainsa
We had stayed before in the Siete Reys hotel in Ainsa, and they were full this time, so we tried the Arcos, which is next door to it. We had liked the Siete Reys and we liked the Arcos - they are actually very similar hotels.
Arcos is done up to a high standard in a old period house. We had a lovely room on the first floor, overlooking the square - the square is very quiet, as no cars are allowed. As with other hotels in the area, you park in the main town car park, and walk to the hotel. It is a few hundred meters, and they do allow you to drop off luggage at the door if you want.
The room was modern, well decorated, and had a modern bathroom. Downstairs is a small sitting room with a serve yourself coffee machine. Breakfast is in the cellars, and was of good quaility.
There is no hotel restaurant, but a very good selection of restaurants is available right outside the front door.
If you have never stayed here, Ainsa is a lovely medieval town, nd we stay here en-route between Spain and the UK
